My Secret Desire...
I'm going to make this quick, since last time was lengthy. I just want to say that I have always wished that I could be a dancer. Since I was pre-teen. I think part of it is that I've always wanted to be thin and have a great body. But I also love music and dance. Since it's quite clear that I will never be a dancer (or be thin!), I will just live vicariously through anyone who is one. For instance...I love, I mean LOVE any show like (1.) So you think you can dance?, (2.) Dancing with the Stars, and (3.) the latest on MTV is Dance Life. I can watch those over and over. I swear I do not get sick of them. Anyway...I added a music sidebar to this blog. If you all don't like the song that is currently playing, just MUTE IT. I know it won't appeal to everyone, but this first song that I put on is the theme song from DANCE LIFE. It really makes me want to dance. Oh and try working out to it. I think I played it 5 times in a row...I was totally sweating! Alright. That'll do it for now.
This is your last day to submit a comment before we draw a name tomorrow. If you did comment...check the blog tomorrow for the winner. I'll post sometime in the afternoon. Enjoy this weather...get out for some fresh air. It'll get you in the mood to scrap!!

HAPPY SATURDAY...
This might get long...I have a lot to cover, so hang in there!! I love springtime. I get happy thinking about it. Even in a state that doesn't get too cold during the winter months. I was at Target the other day and saw these cute flower garland things.

I have to admit I'll probably never use all of those buttons, but they are so darn cute!! I can honestly say I have more, too, just didn't want to mix them in that big thing.
Some more good stuff coming your way...TIM HOLTZ is coming to teach this June. You need to take one or all of his classes if you can. He is an awesome dude, I tell you. He's just darling, too!! He is so talented and we are so lucky to have him coming to 911. Check out all of his classes and call today to sign up. Spots are going quickly.
Aren't they the cutest? I knew right away that I wouldn't actually use them as home decor...I could see the potential in them for scrapbooking!!!! I knew I could snip the green ends off and slap them right down onto any layout. And at $7.99 (you get 8 flowers), that's normal for most floral embellishments in any craft/scrapbook store. If you are interested, they are in the Easter section. You'll see some cute butterflies and also garland that says...EASTER. Target just knows how to get us to buy everything, don't they?
In my last post I told you about the RAK we're doing. One of the questions was...What is your favorite embellishment? Ok...here goes. I am going to admit that I have a slightly obsessive peronality. How would you know? Check out my stash of BUTTONS and FLOWERS (my two favorite embellies right now). Let me quickly say that my button jar is a 1-gallon size jar and the flowers are in a big cookie jar.

You guys must get in to the store soon. All sorts of goodies arrived over the week and just yesterday when I popped in, they had just gotten some Creative Imagination goodies. Pazzill (patterned cardstock!), big chipboard letters, etc. The Love Struck Collection is back and just as beautiful.

See more examples here http://www.creativeimaginations.us/store/CI_MarahJohnson_Collection_LoveStruck_4x.php
And great stuff from Cosmo Cricket like...Buck Naked Buttons and More, Buck Naked Lacing Cards (if you go in to the store, you'll see my sample), and Buck Naked Alpha Buttons. These are fun!! Plus the Dutch Girl and Halfway Cafe paper lines are in - yummy!!
You should know that the Bazzill Bling Cardstock arrived a few days ago and has been flying out the door. Grab some before it is completely OUT. Here's a pic...
This is what the Basic Grey looked like a few days ago. If you haven't been in yet to see for yourself, there might be a few sheets left :-) It really is so fun and whimsical.
Check out all of the Reminisce goodness - Camping, Hunting, Sports Chick, Music, Shamrock, Band paper & cardstock stickers

American Idol Anyone?
Did anyone watch tonight? I've never been a true AI follower. I only watch when I just happen to be home and am in the mood to sit for a while. Plus, I usually can't catch more than a few minutes without being distracted by my very loud and rambunctious children. I'm sure most of you can relate. I like the show...I'm just not an AI junkie like many people I know (ie: I do not know names, backgrounds, etc). What's funny is my husband is watching it right now via DVR. That's funny to me. I wouldn't think that many men would get into it, but mine does!! And boy, does he have an opinion on everybody. I personally loved the cute little Justin Timberlake lookalike. Mmmmm...he can sing, sing, sing. I don't know his name but he got a very good critique from Simon. Well anyway, enough about Idol.

Thank you everyone for the sweet comments. It is so nice to see that someone is reading this thing. I appreciate it greatly. And because of that, I feel the need for a fun little R.A.K. I told you that I was going to do something one of these days. I've compiled a few goodies from the store and also from my own personal stash. I hope you all will play along. It will be well worth your time, I promise!! Do you want a few hints about the R.A.K? Ok, ok! Have you ever heard of Basic Grey? How about Melissa Frances? Alright this might be pushing it a little...Heidi Swapp? Enough said. You have to do me a BIG favor to get your name put in the drawing for this fun little R.A.K. Answer the following questions in the comment section. You have (1) week to comment and if you are the lucky winner, you must be able to pick up your grand R.A.K. in person at Scrapbook 911. Sorry for those of you who might be lurking from afar (unless you're willing to drive or fly in). Good Luck to all. Can't wait to see your comments.
Questions are...
(1). Who is your favorite scrapbook designer or which is your favorite product manufacturer?
(2). What is your favorite embellishment?
(3). Which scrapbook designer/celebrity would you like to see teach at Scrapbook 911?
A little sneak peek...

TGIF...
What a week. It hasn't been too crazy, but many days I look back and wonder where my week went. It's a blur most of the time. I did manage to scrapbook about 4 pages this week. That's a lot for me - during the week anyway. How is everyone else? I want to hear from you...I see that people are visiting and lurking, but PLEASE let me know you're out there. You can be anonymous if you want. I'm just one of those girls who needs a little encouragement once and a while. I'm a big self-doubter!! Have been forever and probably will be for the rest of my life. Oh well, what am I gonna do?! I've learned to just deal with it. Or as one very funny t-shirt says...Just put on your big girl panties and deal with it! I love that.
On to business...I have to apologize again. I told you guys I make mistakes. In my last post I talked about the new flowers from Imaginisce. I put the wrong pictures up. SO SORRY. Here are some of the correct flowers...
I was in today and grabbed 5 or 6 packs. They are really fun. But they won't last too long, either
More fun stuff...these cute little things just came in a few days ago. A Ribbon Iron from Pebbles Inc.! Love it!
Also from Pebbles Inc. ...super cute Scrapbook Paints. In many fun colors. They're so mini and cute and I just had to buy half a dozen (DO NOT TELL THE HUSBAND!).
BoBunny came in, as well. Fun flowers, bright and stylish brads, beautiful paper and much much more...I don't have pics, so you must go in and see for yourself!!
AND FINALLY... BASIC GREY IS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The paper, the letters and stickers, the rub-ons, the fibers. It is all beautiful and I would get some before it is all gone. BG never lasts long at 911. Can't wait to create something with that yummy stuff.

Finally... a page I did today. I'm trying so hard to use more color combinations. I like to coordinate everything, so this was a challenge. Hope you like. Enjoy your weekend.

It's Getting Hot In Here...
Hi everybody. I feel horrible for taking so long to get back on the blog. Wow...is it nice out or what? Oh first, let me say how much I appreciate your kind words regarding my grandmother. It was nice to get home and be with my family. The funeral was beautiful and my grandma looked so nice (it really is amazing what the funeral homes do - they take care of EVERYTHING). But it was really great to step off of the plane and feel the warmth. Spring is definitely here! I was inspired this morning to do a layout using lots of spring colors. Take a look over in the "Featured layout of the week". Well, I'll post it here, too, in case you want to enlarge it. Something you can't do over on the sidebar.
I'll try and work on switching those pics out on time, too!
I hope many of you have had the chance to stop by the store and see what's new. We're starting to get a lot of great new product in. I can tell you that some very cute stuff from Imaginisce came in...Bazzil FLOWERS!! Love them! Here is a peek at a layout that is up in the store featuring their flowers...

And lots of cute "ACCENTS" from Meri Meri (fun embellishments for your scrapbook pages and cards). You can see more here...http://merimeri.com/ or better yet, just check it out in person at 911.
That'll do it for now...I will post more fun stuff next time. Time to open the windows for some fresh air. Have a glorious day.

** HAPPY VALENTINES DAY **
I want to wish everyone a very happy and lovely Valentines day today. It's a gorgeous day outside, so why not get out of the house and take a drive to Scrapbook 911. If you feel like treating yourself (or someone you love/like) to a little Valentine goody, stop by the store and tell the girls there that you love my blog and you'll get 10% off your total purchase! How can you beat that? Let me repeat myself, in case you're wondering if you read this correctly...

Also, we received some new Li'l Davis product yesterday and it is DARLING. There is Chipboard Alphabets, Passionate Papers, Beloved Borders, Bookplates, etc. You must check it out. It'll be right next to the desk/cash wrap. I can't wait to play with it!

Just a heads up...I'll be taking a short break from the blog...just for a few days. My Grandmother passed away yesterday, so I'll be heading home to North Dakota to be with my family. I will try to post from there, but most likely not until I get back next week.
Have a great day everyone!!! Hugs and Kisses

A Few Of My Favorite Layouts From CHA - PART 2
Hey everyone! I think some of you have had a chance to read the first few posts so far...thanks for stopping by! I need to send a big shout out to the girls who've said hi and made comments so far. It is SO GREAT to hear from you! I think I like this blogging thing afterall. I mean I love reading everybody elses, but wasn't sure if it was something I could do. I think I'll be o.k. Alright...on to a few more pics that I thought were cute from the show.
This first one is from the Autumn Leaves Booth. I just love the bright colors and the cute little ribbon flowers!
This is from Elsie's booth. You can just say that I'm in love with anything and everything from Elsie!! Trust me...you will love to see this in person!
Finally...a shot of the KI booth. I have to make a quick correction to the post before this. I gave Elsie credit for a LO that was really from KI. Sorry. You can see it here on this shot. Oops! I'll tell you now...I make many mistakes!
Alright...it's late, so I'll post more later. Don't forget to check back often, as I have a lot of ideas for this blog. I think we might have a little giveaway coming up soon (a RAK for those of you experienced bloggers). Thanks for stopping by!

A Few Of My Favorite Layouts At CHA...
Alright...here are a few highlights from the show. I'm kicking myself now, wishing I would have taken just a few more pictures. Like I said, I was so worried that I'd miss something. Well guess what? I missed a lot of stuff! I still didn't get all the pics and all the make 'n takes and all the giveaways that were being offered, but I don't know if anyone could possibly do that in just 3 days. Ok...like I said, here are some fun LO's from the show...
The first LO is none other than Miss Heidi Swapp. You can't tell can you?
Next is from the Love Elsie Booth. Lovin it!
Same thing...Miss Elsie is rocking her new line. AND YES...WE WILL BE GETTING IT IN APRIL! I can't wait!!
I have no idea which booth this was from. Sorry. I was just snapping away. Hope you enjoyed!
CHA CHA CHA...

I'm not going to say much, except that our trip to CHA was FABULOUS! I loved it all and never stopped to take a lunch break (all three days). I was afraid I would miss something. It's huge people. I'm telling you over 20,000 people and roughly 3,000 booths. I never looked beyond the scrapbooking stuff. It was very cool and if you ever get the chance to go, do it! We came back with a lot of great ideas, lots of inspiration and of course, lots of new product (although it will all ship over the next 3-4 months). You are going to love it all. Start saving now - you won't want to miss anything. Keep checking in, as I will be posting lots of sneak peaks of all the great stuff from CHA CHA CHA. Have a good one...

Something New...
Hey y'all. It's time for something new around here. How about a BLOG? I decided since I am a Blog Stocker, that 911 should also have a Blog. It's fun, it keeps you informed, you can see what's new and hot, and you can get some great ideas. Please stop by regularly, as I will be keeping this cute little site up and running. Oh, I forgot to say that this is Gina posting. I'll be you're new Blogger for the store. Some of you might know me from teaching the Freestyle Classes. I'll try and keep you in the loop on the latest and greatest. Oh and don't forget to comment (at the bottom) and let me know that you're out there, as I know that there are a lot of LURKERS like myself!! This wraps it up for the first official post...stay tuned.
