Monday Sketch!

It's that time of the week again our Monday Sketch. I had a request to do several layouts in the page maps book so here we go. This sketch is on page 25 in the page maps book.

Here is my take on the sketch.

Here is up close of the 2 page layout I did. I had fun doing this layout. This is my oldest daughter, Janelle, in her friends 15th birthday party.

Here is Donna McEwen's layout. She did an awesome job. Donna came in for class last Sunday and showed me her scrapbook that she is making her friends when they came to visit San Antonio. She did a wonderful job and her friend is going to love it. I wished I had a great friend like her to make me a layout.

Here is Gaelynn's take on the layout. I was talking to her the other night and she was scrapbooking. I asked her if she would do a layout from the sketch on page 25. She wanted to play along.

Anyone else up for the challeng??!!! I will give you heads up on the next weeks sketch. It is on page 18 of the page maps book. Donna McEwen also did a layout from that page. I will be showing you her layout and mine. If anyone wants do to it just send me a link to your picture or send me an email. You have a Happy Monday!!!

CHA

CHA is around the corner!!!!
OK scrapbookers out there we need your help. Mimi, Michelle, Angela and I (Jennie) are going to CHA in the middle of July. What is CHA you ask. Well it stands for Crafts and Hobby Association. It is where all the scrapbook companies get together at a convention center and retailers are allowed in to view and order the latest and greatest. It is like sending a kid in a candy store... they can look but can't have right away. We can look and order but can't take home just yet. This is where we would like your help. We would like you to leave a comment about what you would like us to carry at Scrapbook 911.
Anyone who comments will be elibible for the drawing and whoever we draw we will order something from your wish list and you will get a RAK of new stuff when it comes in. I will be taking lots of pictures while I'm there. Michelle is going to bring her laptop so I can load pictures while I'm there and show you on the blog each night we are there. Sounds like fun, huh. Now I need you to comment and let us know what is on your wish list.

Another Monday Sketch

Monday Sketch

I hope you are liking these Monday sketches. I know I am. It is making me scrapbook every week. I love the Page Map book. It has lots of great ideas. This one is of my little Joshua. This picture that I took of him made me think of the little boy on Forest Gump. Look at the way he is holding his head. Don't you think?! He thought he caught a big fish. Anyway, I would love to see any of your work. Happy Monday!!!!!
