I'm Back!!!

Did you miss me?! We had a great time while we were gone.

Are you ready for lots of pictures? I worked at the store yesterday and took lots of pictures for the blog. Give me a few minutes to load them up, edit them, and put them on the blog. For now I just felt like giving some things away since I have not done this in a while. I am picking all the ladies who commented while I was away.

What is new in the store

Creative Impressions

New Bazzill

Angela called me and let me know that Creative Impressions came in yesterday. Lots of pretty flowers and such.

The new Bazzill stuff will be in this afternoon. Bazzill came out with lots of new things. They came out with some new paper colors, dot papers, new templates, new flowers, etc the list goes on. So it is not just cardstock. You need to come in and check it out.

Angela also told me that she knows that there are 4 more boxes coming in today but doesn't know what they are yet. I will update as soon as I know. There are lots of new things rolling in everyday. I will be back in the Store Sunday and will be taking my camera to take lots of pictures of the new things at the store. Have a good day.

I just called the store and Angela said that Luxe came in yesterday and Daisy Bucket came in today. Sorry I don't have pictures to show you right now but just wanted to let you know what has arrived. She said she would call me and let me know what else comes in so I may be back soon.

SDU Graduates

SDU Graduates!!

Gaelynn and I graduated Scrapbook Design and You formerly called Scrapbook Designs University.

We took lots of wonderful classes from Shane at EK Success.

We can't wait to get back and start the classes.

I received a call from Angela on Monday that Kaiser and Pink Paisley came in. She said that they are going fast. Kaiser paper is almost gone. Sorry I wasn't able to get on the internet on Monday or Tuesday. On Sunday Gaelynn and I were stuck at the airport for about 8 hours due to bad weather. We got up at 3 am and didn't arrive to New Jersey until after 8 pm. It made for a long day. We made it into New York last night sight seeing. All I can say is wow........ My husband is on his way up to NY but missed his plane this morning. Guess what?? I had to get myself from New Jersey to New York. From the port authorities to the motel. It took me a little over 2 1/2 hours and lots of walking but I made it here. I will have lots of pictures to scrapbook so look out for lots of NY layouts. I have probably bored you to death but wanted to say that I am alive and sorry I didn't get you the info sooner. Stay safe and I will update you when I here more.

Early Monday Sketch

Did you miss me??!!

Here is your Monday Sketch a little early.

Gaelynn and I are off again. We are on our way to New Jersey. We are taking some classes to come back and teach our scrapbook friends. Yes you. We are taking SDU classes. I will be taking my lap top to hopefully post pictures for you of what we are learning. Here is your sketch for Monday. It is on page 76 in your Page Maps book. Yes, it is a one pager but I made mine a two page layout.

I used the new Basic Grey paper Off Beat. It is not at the store yet but I did call Basic Grey and they said that Ambrosia and Off Beat were shipping late this next week.

Here is the stickles up close and personal. We have had several people ask what stickles are. They are the most awesome thing that has come out. LOL It is a glue glitter. You just need a little of it and it finishes off your layout. It gives your layout that little something that it needs.

Here is an extra little layout I made the other night. It is also with the new Basic Grey paper Ambrosia.

When we start getting the paper in these layouts will be up for display. I hope you have a great weekend and I will try to post updates while I'm gone. I do know that Luxe is also on its way. So look out for Kaiser, Creative Impressions, Luxe and Pink Paislie.

What's new at the store you ask?!

We have recently gotten in Scenic Route, Graphics 45, 7 Gypsies and Chatterbox.

Here is the new Scenic Route papers. There are 2 lines with embellishments. Love the beautiful colors on these papers.

Pink Paislies is on its way to the store. They shipped today so it will be here soon. Kaiser is also on its way. It will be here on Monday. Are you ready for new bling?? Pink Paislies has pixie sticks that are glitter. They are to die for. Cute Cute Cute. Kaiser has lots of new gems.

Does anyone like Thickers

We received lots of new Thickers and Stickers from American Crafts. The ladies in Tami's sketch and crop went crazy when these came in. We got in vinyl, chipboard, metalic, foam etc etc. Did I mention we have Thickers and more Thickers?

Here is another monday sketch for you to try. It is the page maps book on page 68 I believe. I know several of you picked up your page maps book this weekend. They are a hot item. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Anyone who wants to participate send me your layout using the sketch or if you have a layout you want me to do let me know.

Here is Joshua last year at Halloween picking out his pumpkin in Bracken. My kids love going there playing, picking out pumpkins, and taking pictures. I used the new Basic Grey paper that has not hit the stores yet. I was able to get a few pieces at CHA to play with. Basic Grey came out with 5 new lines. They are awesome.

We have Making Memories

We have making memories here. It came in on Saturday. It was going fast so stop by soon before it is all gone. I will post pictures of it tomorrow when I am in the store.

We are expecting lots of bling from Kaiser. They also have paper and we ordered lots of that also. When it comes in I will let you all know.

Thanks for all who have been doing the poll on the right side of the blog. Thanks to all who have commented about the adhesive you use. I know lots of you are interested in a good adhesive. I would recommend you try Kokuyo if you like CM or a tape runner. I have tried using lots of tape runners and by far this one I have found is one of the better ones. If you have not used it come by the store and we will let you try the one we have behind the counter. As for wet adhesive, I recommend zip dry. Several of us instructors like to use it in our class. We all have our favorites.

elegant looking. They are in our wedding isle but lots of the papers can also go with anything. There are some homemade papers. Come check them out.

The retreat is this weekend. We will be open on Friday and Saturday until 12 midnight. There has been lots of thing that have come in this week so if you are liking anything in these pictures you better get in the store before it is gone.
