A request from Tami

Tami, one of our instructors here at Scrapbook 911 has a request:

“Hi all,I NEED your help!A photo of my youngest, Chris has been selected as a finalist in the Oct "Kid on the Cover" contest by Scrapbooks Etc. Magazine.There are only 2 photos of boys in the finalists, and Chris is the one surrounded by pumpkins! The temperature may have cooled off outside, but things are definitely still hot at Scrapbook 911. We continue to have new product arriving, and have more papers, embellishments and tools than we have ever had before. In fact, our biggest problem lately is where to put it all.

New Products 10/22/09

Hi all... Here are more products that just came in.

We have some of the charms that Tim Holtz uses in his altered projects. They are going like crazy. I got the silver but there is some stuff we have at the store to make them look old. You can buy them by the each.

Thickers are here. American Crafts paper and embellis have arrived. Lots of cute boy paper. It's so hard finding boy paper. We have lots of cute boy paper that have been coming in lately.

Cosmo Cricket
Here is 3 of the newest lines from Cosmo Cricket. It is going fast also.

We have an upcoming class taught by Carrie Avery. Lots of you have asked for a soldering class. She is a pro at soldering and will show you how to use your soldering stuff to make teacher gifts, christmas gifts, etc.

Guest Instructor Debby Schuh

You asked for it, you got it.
We are having a Guest Instructor, Debby Schuh, coming to our store, Scrapbook 911, on Dec 7th.
Travel Album
2 pm-5 pm

Where have you been? Where do you want to go? Whether our travels take us to an exotic locale or just down the road, we need someplace to keep all the treasures we collect along the way. In this handmade 11X9 album we'll find a home for the photos and memorabilia you already have or be ready for the next trip! This album would also be a perfect gift for someone starting out on a new venture.
As a Ranger Certified Instructor, Debby will teach us how to transform a plain gray piece of Grungepaper into a foux leather album cover. With her usual creative mix of product and unique pockets and paper folds, we'll create an album full of fun and imaginative elements. We'll use the fabulous new tool, 7 gypsies Binderie punch to assemble pages, pockets, bags, tags, and different size page protectors in the album. We'll be using a combination of the very latest products from October Afternoon, 7 gypsies, American Crafts, Advantus, Bazzill Basics, may Arts, and Ranger Industries.
Supplies for students to bring to class:
12" paper trimmer, ruler, pencil, scissors, Ranger Ink Blending tool, Non-stick Craft Mat, Distress Ink Stamp Pad: Vintage Photo, tape runner adhesive, Crop a dile, stapler or Tiny Attacher, foam squares, Sand paper or edge distressor, apron or old shirt to cover clothes while painting. Optional: Binderie punch, decorative border punch, craft knife.

Christmas Album
6 pm-9 pm

Capture the magical moments of the holidays in this whimsical new album full of the latest techniques, overflowing with wonderful textures, and bursting with cuteness! We'll take bueauiful laces and colorful ribbons, luscious paints, stamping and distressing, and even our own handwriting, along with the darling Jolly by Golly collection from Cosmo Cricket and transform this cool 8X8 Prima canvas album with canvas pages and page protectors into a fabulous masterpiece to treasure for seasons to come. With Debby's usual mix of pockets, flaps, and interactive elements, we'll add products from American Crafts, Bazzill Basics, Jenni Bowlin, Jillibean Soup, May Arts, Melissa Francis, Primas, Ranger Industires. You'll have lots of product to play with to make this album truly your won.
