Do you know what today is?

It's the last day of September. Today I think I'm going to take a trip up to the attic and bring our Halloween decorations down. Is it too early? It's so hard to tell, cause it still feels like summer here!!

Today is also the last day to submit your bras for BRA-LA-PALOOZA. Come can do it. This is your chance to win $50 in store merchandise and also give to a good cause. If you think you can do this, you can! Here are some of the bras that have been entered so far. These are just too funny. I got a good kick out of seeing these.

Pretty creative, huh? Now starting tomorrow (Monday) you can start voting.

Votes are $1 and the vote money will fill the cups of the various bras. The owner of the bra with the most money wins a $50 gift certificate. Voting ends Sunday, October 14, 2007. All of the “vote” money will be sent to the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Think Pink, RAK, Heidi Swapp and Embellishing!

So much to talk about, so hang tight please!

First off...

this weekend we are supporting the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Association. The Scrap Pink Crops are going on starting Friday. If you are still interested in attending, PLEASE CALL THE STORE ASAP, as I'm not sure how many spots are left. The proceeds will be going directly to this foundation to help find a cure! The weekend will be about everything Pink and supporting the special women in our lives - including survivors & co-survivors. There will be some special surprises through-out the entire weekend. Even if you can't crop, please stop by to support this very important event.

In honor of it being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we thought it would be fun to do a RAK challenge. We want to see some layouts from you girls. Only thing you need to do is make it a layout for that "special woman" in your life. One that may be a survivor/co-survivor. Or someone that you know who is going through it right now. Or someone who was a survivor and is no longer living. I think you get the picture. I am going to play along, as well, since I come from a family full of survivors. I want to see lots and lots of layouts from you all. The winner will receive none other than a RAK full of pink scrapbooking goodies.

You have until end of day Thursday, Octobor 4th. That's one whole week to get crackin. Comment with your link or email it to me or the store. Now get your pink stuff out and get scrappin!!

^ ^^

Ok y'all. I'm going to spill the beans about some new yummies that just came in this afternoon. If you are not able to crop this weekend or at least stop in for fun, then you must get to the store tomorrow...Thursday to snatch a few of Heidi Swapp's new items. YES...we now have lots of great new product like...

Clear Clock stamps
Clear Month stamps
Ghost Flowers
Glitter Flowers
Journaling Spots
Chipboard Shapes

Did I get your attention? Ok...don't wait long. Most of this probably won't be around after the big weekend!!

Wondering where this layout came from?'s mine of course. I wanted to show you how much I love not only the Scenic Route paper and chipboard letters, and of course the Heidi Swapp mask, but the GLIMMER MIST that I talked about a few posts ago... LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I used it on my mask and will probably never use anything else again on my masks. It works like magic and is super easy to clean up. You really need to try it, if you haven't yet.

And another layout from yours truly. This one I have to say is a little out of my norm. Why, you ask? See all of the embellishments? Ya, it's a big deal for me to embellish. I tend to be a simple kinda girl, but wish I could be an embellisher!!

Here's the deal...there is a girl by the name of Heather Burch. She is an amazing scrapbooker and also owns her own monthly kit club. She did an online class last week (a rarity), but I was not able to do it. After I saw her layout that people were to do, I knew I had to lift it/jack it/whatever you wanna call it. Here is how mine turned out. It's a little different than hers, but I just wanted you all to see that she is queen of embellishing. Everything she creates is amazing and full of eye candy!!

I want to challenge you, too, to do lots of embellishing if you are more like me and keep it more simple. Try it, please! It is fun to step out of your comfort zone on occasion. I can't wait to try it again. But for now...use my layout as an example and show me what you can do.

Have a nice evening!!

If you were at the transplant sale on Saturday, you know that it was a huge success. WOW! What a turnout. Thank you to everyone who attended, sold, helped out, etc. What fun. I can't wait until the next one.

If you weren't able to make it...I have pictures for you. Here...

Some of our stellar sellers!!

Hi Esmie!!
Everybody waiting so patiently.

Mike going over the "rules".

I told you it was a huge success!
Our 911 girls working very hard (and still smiling).
This was the back room (the small one) and hardly any room to move!!
Hi Roni!! That's Roni in the yellow shirt above. Keep watching for her future Freestyle classes!
Oh and I wanted to say hi to Shanda and Donna...I think they were the first girls in line for the sale (very early)! When I was leaving, these girls were outside sitting in the back of their car having a show and tell of what they bought. So I stopped to see their goodies and chat for a second. They both found some awesome deals.

Take a look at all of this cute Bo Bunny stuff. Lots of great ribbon, chipboard swirls, brads, stickers, paper, sanding tools, etc.

No kidding...people get in line way early. Set-up is from 9-10am, but you can get in line and wait patiently if you like. Many people do it and it's really not a bad idea, since there are so many great deals!! This year is going to be awesome. I, myself, am going to be selling some good stuff. I am still in the process of bagging my things.
We hope to see you out tomorrow. And watch just might see me with my camera. I'm going to be like the paparazzi !!

And don't forget about some of the other new and fun things that are still arriving in the store. I wanted to post some real life pics of the Basic Grey goodies. Also in are more of those yummy Glimmer Mist bottles in many flavors (colors). This stuff is hot! You are going to be seeing a lot of this spray paint/ splattered look everywhere! I'm going to do a page right after I finish typing this. I will show you later how it turned out. Also girl/boy stuff from Heidi Grace and Cloud 9. We also got in more of the Prima Bling in swirls. Something else that is very cool are the Heartwarming Vintage booklets, stickers and more! Check 'em out when you stop by or come on Saturday!! Here's a peak for now...
