More for the silent auction

Here are two more items up for auction. One is a Texas A & M mini album. Cute as can be. It is made with a license plate. Can you believe it?!

This one is in the works. What you see with the one above will be Texas Longhorns.
These two books are one of a kind. Come into the store on Friday and place your bid. Good luck!

Silent Auction rules

All right folks, here is how the Fundraising silent Auction will work.

In a nutshell, the high bidder wins.
The rules are simple:
· The auction begins on Friday November 28th at 9 am and ends on Tuesday December 16th at 8pm.
· If you live in the 210 or 830 area codes, you must come in the store and sign the auction sheet for the item(s) you want to bid on.
· If you do not want to use your name that’s fine (if it’s a surprise, or you don’t want your friends to know you out bid them J), we just need contact information, either email or phone number so that if you win we can contact you.
· If you live in any other area code other than 210 or 830 you may phone or email in your bid. Contact the store at (210) 492-1984 or michelle@scrapbook911.com to place a bid.
· Emails received BEFORE 8:00 pm on the 16th of December will be counted before the winner is determined.
· The blog http://scrapbook911.blogspot.com/ will be updated every night to reflect the highest bid of the day for each item, names will NOT be posted about the highest bidder.
· If you need an item you won shipped to you, you are responsible for paying shipping cost to the store
· All proceeds benefit Guide Dogs of Texas www.guidedogsoftexas.org

Thank you all so much for participating in this fun fundraiser, I hope you find some really cool items to bid on, I know I have

Silent Auction products

Hi my friends....Here are a few of the items that are up for auction. We are still waiting for several of our instructors and staff to finish making theirs.
First up is a Canvas Book made by Tim Holtz himself. He was so generous and donated this book for auction to help support the Guide Dogs of Texas. We have a picture of Tim with one of our Guide Dogs Johnny. I need to find it and I will post it. This book is made with beeswax and lots of distress items. He even hand sewn the binding to this book.

Next up is a crown album. It is made for the princess or Queen in your life. It is made with black and pink shimmer paper and acrylic paper with lots of bling.

Next up is a calendar journal book. This class was a hit when it was taught a few weeks ago so we made one to auction off. It measures approx. 6 X 9 in.

This book was made with lots of love. This has an acrylic front and back and has lots of BLING. It measures 11 1/2 in scalloped circle.

Next up is a beautiful decorative box. You can put your gift in it, cookies, etc.
Then we have a box filled with lovely cards. Everyone loves receiving handmade cards.

This is only a few items up for auction. We have many more to come. I will give you all the details soon as to how it is going to work.

As many of you have read we are having a silent auction. Several of instructors and close friends have made some handmade items for our silent auction. Many people love getting handmade items for christmas. Tim Holtz also has donated one of his books that he has made and signed. If you are the lucky one to win the bid for his book you will also get a picture of him signing the book and a sweet sentiment on the back. All the proceeds from the silent auction will go to The Guide Dogs of Texas. We will start the silent auction on Friday Nov 28th. I will have more info for you tomorrow.

Christmas Album

Here is my Christmas Mini Album that I am teaching on Dec 13th Saturday from 1-3:30pm. Here is the front and the first two pages. If you are interested space is limited so sign up soon.

Here are a few layouts I did with the new Remenisce Disney line.

Pink Paislee papers have arrived. Here is the tinsel town and sweet lines.

More pictures of the embellishments for pink paislee.

Karen K. is showing you what she cut out with the slice machine that we demoed at the crop. These slice machines are flying off the shelves. If you want one you better call or come by and put your name on the list. I placed another order for them Monday so they should be here soon.
