Who's up for a few SNEAK PEAKS?

You know CHA is right around the corner! We will have a few 911 girls representing us in Chicago and will be doing all of the purchasing of new goods. I've seen a bunch of peaks around the Internet world and thought you might enjoy them, like I did. If something really catches your eye...please let us know! We love your feedback and want to make you happy when it comes to what kind of product we offer in the store. Here...take a look and tell me what you think.

Cosmo Cricket...this paper is delish! Plus, if you read the whole blog entry, it says that they have 2 more paper lines that are TOP SECRET. I wonder what those look like?

Cherry Arte...from the website Lifetime Moments, this new line is amazing! The colors are incredible. This brand is going on my wish list for sure!!

American Crafts...whoa baby! Also from the website Lifetime Moments. How cute are those little fleece shapes (love the birds)? And the paper is totally fun. I want it ALL!

PRIMA...ok, check out their two ads. Double click on each picture and really study what's in it. Whomever is in charge of their advertising/marketing is doing a great job!! You will see sneaks of new brads, alphas, journaling cards, and of course flowers and paper.

Me & My Big Ideas...you can see little sneaks on this link.

Daisy D's...CUTE! CUTE! CUTE!

Ok...that'll do it for today's sneak peaks. I'll try to find more for ya. Don't forget to let us know what you think!!

It's Summer around here! The second official day, that is. All of the rain has made it a little more bearable. Thank goodness. And thank goodness we don't have the flooding problems, like some areas of Texas.

Well, I'm just dying to get some pictures up for you all to see. There is some good stuff in the store right now. How about some Scrapworks...yummy paper, fun chipboard shimmer shapes, bay boxes to name a few. Also in...DaisyD's paper and cardstock stickers...soooo cute! Oh and a bunch of awesome Tim Holtz storage units. Perfect for all of your ink pads, ink dabbers, alcohol inks. You gotta see these!! Prima flowers...who doesn't like these? Bo Bunny Flex Ruler...way cool! Petaloo flowers that are so cute you want to eat em right up (warning...these are going VERY FAST!). I have lots of great pics for you...but I'm telling ya, if you see something you like, get to the store NOW!

Good stuff, huh? Ok...one more reminder. You have until Sunday to enter your Father's Day layout for a chance to win $15 in store credit. Woohoo...I've got some great entries so far. But you can still get yours in by Sunday. Come on girls (and guys!!) you can do this. I never got around to doing my own Father's Day layout (ya I'm kinda lame), but I did do a few others that I'll share with you. Maybe you'll get inspired to throw your name in the hat for the Father's Day contest!! Have a good one...don't be afraid to say hello :)

Happy Monday (evening)! Hope you all had a great weekend and Father's Day. I can't believe how fast this month is going. How about you? Summer seems to be such a busy time for everyone.
Alright...this is a little overdue, but I wanted to introduce you all to two of our newest employees. From left to right...Dania (not new), Anita and Kirsten. They are doing such a great job so far and know so much already!! If you happen to run into them, please give them a warm welcome! Please don't be afraid to ask for help, too, if you need anything!! They will be more than happy to help you.

Thanks to Jess who played along on my Heidi Swapp Challenge. Here is her version!! Thanks to everyone who played along and allowed me to post their layouts.

Did you know there's a new girl in town? Well, a new teacher at 911. Her name is Dimitra and she is going to be teaching the Baby Book Mini Album. June 28th from 6:15-8pm. You can see her sample at the store...it is darling! You can also choose boy or girl papers. Even if you don't have a baby or children of your own, this would make an awesome gift!!
***
I'm still hoping to see some more layouts for the FATHER'S DAY LAYOUT CONTEST. You still have time to get some photos developed and scrap a page for a chance to win $15 of store merchandise. Come on girls...I want to see what you can do.
*****
Of course I want to thank everyone who has already submitted their layouts. Great job so far! You girls are quick!!

FATHER'S DAY FUN!
I took that title from the Newsletter. Do y'all know about that? Do you look forward to it every month like I do? If it's the first of the month, I start stalking the website waiting everyday for that newsletter to come out. I love it. Ok, well I just wanted to be sure that you know about it and on the second page you can get title ideas for your pages. I am always at a loss for ideas on titles/journaling. So there ya go...now you can get some help if you're like me.
***
I know I said I'd have details earlier...I'm so sorry. Thank you for stopping back to see what I was talking about!!
***
We want to challenge you to a Father's Day Layout contest. Yes...since the big day is on Sunday...don't tell me you forgot?! Ohhhh, you're going to be in big trouble if you don't do something!! Ok...we want you to make us a layout (1 or 2 page, whatever you feel like) for Father's Day and send us a link or picture or bring it in to the store if you have to. However we can see it to vote on it. The 911 girls will vote on their favorite layout and the winner will get a $15 gift certificate to the store. Nice, huh?
***
Now start your engines and get scrappin. You have until Sunday, June 24th. That's just over a week. You'll have time to take some great photos...if you have big plans this weekend! Good Luck and Happy Father's Day weekend.
YAY! I've got a couple of girls who were willing to take my challenge and lift Heidi Swapp with me. Here...take a look at these great pages. Oh and if you're still working on yours...send it to me when you finish and I'll still put it up!! I never said when you had to have it done by, so come on...keep on working on those lifts.

Here is Roni's lift...

And here is Sam's lift, as well...
You girls are awesome!! These layouts are so fun and beautiful. And if I'm correct...Sam doodled her butterflies! That's pretty impressive. And it goes to show you if you don't have the actual ghost butterfly that Heidi makes, then you can find other ways to get butterflies!!
***
Alright...I've got to tease you all for a minute. Please check back later today, as we will be doing a Father's Day RAK. I will have all of the details for you...just start thinking of father's day layouts!!

If you're a fan of Heidi Swapp...you must check THIS out. It's the "change is good" post and you have to see her layout. It is gorgeous and it totally reminds me of why I love her soooo much. She can't seem to ever disappoint. Don't you just love that layout? I had to lift it. And I had to do it right away. I happened to have one of her ghost butterflies and I traced it for my template. YOU should try this. It is a little tedious cutting out those butterflies, but so worth it in the end. Here is my lift...

Anybody wanna scraplift with me? If so, let me know and send me your version of it. I would love to see it and post it if you don't mind. Come on...I know someone wants to do this with me!! Don't be shy.

Some new stuff has trickled into the store lately...here ya go. Take a look and if you see something you like...get on in to the store. Our product never seems to last very long...I know how frustrating that can be. You just gotta make a move fast!!

Need an idea for your husband or a man in your life (FATHER'S DAY!!)? Jenni made this cute golf paint can. You can buy it as a kit only. How cute! If you have any questions...please give the store a call or stop in.

P.S. Don't forget that you can click on the pictures to make them bigger (in other words, get a closer view of the products!).

How cute are these girls? This is the group of girls that were busy scrappin at Brenda's Kids Summer Camp crop. They were doing some really great pages. I was very impressed! If you have a child or know of someone who might be interested, you should look into this! It is really great and Brenda is such a huge help to them. I wanted to sit myself down and join in!!

Do you or anyone you know like kits? I am currently working on putting a bunch of kits together for the store. I know there are some of you out there that enjoy buying a kit that is completely ready to go. No brainstorming for new ideas, no flipping thru pages and pages of your scrapbook magazines and books, no coordinating paper and embellishments...you get the picture!! It's all done for you. You just tape, glue, add photos and viola!!
*****
Be on the lookout for some new and exciting kits. See my sneaky peakies up above. I'll have boy, girl, family, travel, etc. They should be in the store by the end of the weekend!!

Have a wonderful Friday!!

WELCOME TIM HOLTZ!

We are so excited to have Tim in the house. He has been very busy since his arrival. Look at these gorgeous samples from the classes he is teaching this weekend. WOW! Totally inspiring and different, huh?

I snapped a few shots while he was in the middle of his Designing with Dabbers class. How fun it looked. Here...take a look at some of the action.

I'll have more pictures coming soon.

Look at some of the newer things that have arrived in the last week. Fathers Day EVERYTHING...Fancy Pants paper, rub-ons, and 12x12 chipboard flourishes, flowers, etc. GO get some. They are incredible!!

We've got some exciting classes coming up this month. Take a sneak peak at a few here.

Want to get the kids involved this summer? Try the Kids Kamp that Brenda teaches. Check the calendar for dates and times. They are sure to have a good time!!

Say hello to LINDSAY! She is one of the newest employees at 911. She is a Churchill H.S. student and is helping out for the summer. Please welcome her if you happen to see her in the store!
