What are you doing this Labor Day? RAK

What are you doing this Labor Day?
Tell me what you are doing this 3 day weekend and from all the comments posted here I will have a drawing on Tuesday morning for a RAK. How does that sound? (What is a RAK you ask: a RAK is Random act of Kindness to give something away) I will be the first. We are heading off to the lease for a day or so. I am taking my scrapbook supplies with me. I don't like sitting around and with it being hot outside what is better than scrapbooking. Then my husband wants to celebrate my birthday (which is on Tuesday) on Monday. Wooohooo!!!
Don't forget our sale on Saturday.
So what are you doing this weekend?
I put another poll for you to vote on the right side of the blog.

More Bra la Palooza

Here are 3 pictures of the bra la palooza melissa frances booth had. They were fantastic. This first picture won 1st place. The person who made this one had pictures hanging from the bra with ribbon of the people she knew who had passed away from cancer. She did a fabulous job on it and was breath taking.
We thought this one was cute. They took the bra and glued it in half to make a chick with cowboy boots. CUTE!!!
This one was blinged up with flowers and glitter. Pretty.
I gave you lots of inspiration for the bra la palooza. Who is up for this? I have had one email me and she is going to start on hers this weekend. How about you?

Monday Sketch

Here is your monday sketch. I was surfing the web and found a place that does sketches once a week and stumbled upon this one and thought it would go good with my New York pictures. Hope you don't get tired of my New York layouts because I will also be working on those along with school pictures. Anyway here is the website:http://janellerichmond.typepad.com/sketchthis/ This is one from a previous post. Not sure when it was posted but it is on her site.

Here is my layout from this sketch. Hope you like.

Anyone up for this challenge? I know that it is not from pagemaps. I will have another one from the book next week or sooner. Is there a specific page or layout you want me to do? Let me know and I will be up for the challenge. Happy Monday.

Creative Imaginations

As I was leaving this afternoon to pick up the kiddos from school here came the UPS guy and the Fed Ex guy. We received some stuff from Creative Imaginations and Bazzill. Here were just a few things I was able to take pictures of before I left. I will have more pictures of this soon. First up is a haunted house that is lazer cut 12 X 12. It is awesome in person.
Next is the 12 X 12 lazer cut ghosts. They are not on pink paper. They are white but needed to put it on a piece of paper to show it off and all I had in front of me was pink. Sorry. Anyways love them.
I need to get some of these papers. These are their zoo papers but I was thinking of Animal Kingdom from Disneyworld pictures would go great with these papers. What do you think?

We also got anniversary paper, cowboy and cowgirl papers and embellishments, school papers and embellishments (to die for) and even more zoo papers. I need to get back to the store and get me some.

Back to school they go.

Back to school the kids go. The kids were ready for school to begin. I just had to show off my kids pictures from this morning on their first day of school. Now I have to scrapbook them with the new school paper from remenisce making the grade. I want to see all your layouts from the pictures you took of your kids on the first day of school. I will post your layouts on the blog. Here is Jamie my 5th grader. Can't believe she will be in Middle school next year. She got glasses this summer.
Here is my Joshua. He is in 2nd grade already.
This is Janelle. She is a sophmore this year. Oh those teenage years. :)

Happy first day back to school.

K & CO papers and embellishments.

Here is the new K & Co papers and embellishments. They are going fast. Everyone is buying the paper and embellishments to do this layout. Isn't it cute. Tami made it and did a great job.

I just love this paper. The more bling the better.

These were fun Halloween papers and embellishments. We now need to get ready for the christmas papers.

More New Items

Making Memories Christmas line came in last night.

Wow is all I got to say.

I love the new alphabets. I love the script font they have.

Next up is Maya Roads. We loved their booth at CHA. I didn't get a chance to see it all put out but was there when the fed ex guy brought the boxes. Love it all.

Maya Roads came out with their own Glimmer Mist. They are very vibrant colors. I was able to play with them at CHA and they work great on chipboard.

This is Remenisce new line Making the Grade. They go from Preschool to Senior in High School. Paper and Stickers alike.

Here is GCD's new line. They did a great job this time around.

We have more on it's way. I do know that Stamping Station is being shipped for all of our custom made papers and embellishments. Lauren also ordered the new High School Johnson papers and embellishments. I will keep you posted.

Anyone Threading Water??

I just wanted to let you know that the new Threading Water Punch is now back in stock. If you are still wanting one I would either head over there right now or call the store and see if they will pull it for you and put it in the back cabinet with your name on it. Last time we got them in we couldn't even put them out on the shelf.

New Polls

Hi all, it's me again. I created another poll down at the right side of the blog. I posted a poll about cardstock vs. printed paper, your fav embelli, and fav class. Let us know what you think.

Monday Sketch.

Here is your Monday Sketch. It is on page 47 in your page maps book.

I used the new Basic Grey paper for this layout. Sorry the lighting was bad when I took these pictures.
Someone asked what they are suppose to do when they want to join in on the sketches. All you have to do is send me an email with an attachment to the picture or a link to your blog and I will get it up on our blog. Who wants to join in on the fun?
Happy Monday!!!
First up is Pink Pasley. Pop Fashion and Vintage Moon.
There is not too many stamps sets left. I love the alpha stickers. They have fun fonts and pretty colors. Oh and they are cheap.

Here is what is left of the Kaiser paper. I went to pick up a few sheets and there were several that only had one left. When I came in yesterday there were several empty trays so if you are liking any of these you better hurry over.

Basic Grey has arrived. Here are some of the papers that I have been using in my Monday Sketch layouts. Love Basic Grey.
We got in Ambrosia, Eva, and Off Beat.

Did anyone say Bling. We received lots of bling from Kaiser. Here are just a couple of samples of the different kinds of bling Kaiser came out with. They also have hearts, stars, circles, squares, arrows, flowers and the list goes on.

They even have word Bling.

Here is the new Daisy Bucket papers. The paper to the left with the world picture on it is already gone. I took the picture and someone snagged it right after. I'm telling you this new stuff is going fast.

You know me with Flowers. I was in lala land. I was told that when these flowers came in on Friday that over 100 of these were sold just that day alone. WoW. They are fun and cheap also.

Luxe Designs is here also. Love all the bright colors.

So there you go for now. I got word that Making Memories should be here soon. Their new Christmas line is to die for. Check back for more info soon.
