May is just around the corner and that means four things: National Scrapbook Day, Mother’s Day, Graduations and Vacation Planning. We’ve got you covered for all four!!

Mother’s day is May 10th, and there are only a few things that could be better than a Gift Certificate. We are open on Mothers Day between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, so if you want to treat yourself to some crop time, come on in, it’s FREE.

We have everything you need for graduation: paper, albums embellishments, with a large selection of custom items from the local high schools, UT, A&M, Tech and Baylor!!!

Our travel section is overflowing with product for that upcoming trip (or the trip you took before). Brand new items for Cruise, Beach, and popular destinations like Las Vegas are all in stock.

Got Kids?? Jennie and Angela have brought Kids Camp back by popular demand. The fun starts June 16th and will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am ‘till noon until July 16th. We also have Jeanette’s Scrapbook 911 Kids Club, a Crop just for kids on Sundays May 17th and June 14th, between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. We have lots of other classes coming up in May and June as well. This layout was made by one of our instructors, Tami, done with Mike and Michelle's grandaughter, Kylie. She did a fabulous job and what a beautiful baby.

it’s an adorable line with cute little patterns and designs. they are just SO sweet and SO simple, it makes them very easy to mix and match quickly. and the embellishments are pretty cute too! the shimmer papers are done in pinks and and blues; with accents that can look white or cream depending on how the light hits it. and some of the embellishments are accented in cream. sometimes, it’s hard to use a line that has just white, or just cream in it because it might not work with your photos. but when the 2 colors are both in the line, things get SO much easier! and you can still get that nice crisp “fresh baby” feel.

Making Memories, Smooch, Studio 10

Making Memories came in this evening. It is their wedding line. I don't have pictures yet because it was not all put out yet. I will have pictures soon of that.

Smooch is also here. There are a few bottles left. We ordered 12 sets of them and a lot of them are gone. If you are interested in them call the store or come in and check them out. Tami, our instructor, has them on her blog for all to see. See next post down to go to Tamis blog.

Studio 10 products are here also. Have you seen that awesome canvas/metal book that Tim made for our auction in December. We received in the stuff for you to make your very own one.

Speaking of the auction that we had. We have had lots of comments to have a Christmas in July auction. We will be having an auction starting the weekend of July 4th and lasting all month and we will also have another one around Christmas. All the proceeds are going to The Guide Dogs of Texas. We did great last year and had some awesome product and are hoping for more this year. I will post more about the auction soon.

SMOOCH

A new product coming to our store this week. If you are unfamiliar with SMOOCH, it’s a new pearlized ink - think ink you can paint with! and it’s available in 8 lipsmacking colors! the brush makes it REALLY special though, you can really get into teeny-tiny places, it’s firm, not floppy like a regular brush, and the long handle gives great balance and makes it easy to apply!

Tami, our instructor at the store, demonstrated this technique this weekend. It was a hit. We ordered lots but lots have been spoken for so if you are interested in them please call the store and put your name down on the wait list. For those of you who take the Totally Tim class you may need one of these. They make holes in the fragments. It makes holes in lots of things without any stressing.

Here are a few of the new Thickers. We received in 9 new fonts and colors.

There you have it. I do know that some new Making Memories are coming in next week mid week and we placed an order for lots more Military paper and embellishments. Oh and if you have heard of the smooch colors, we preordered them and they should be here on Monday. Lots of Product

We have received in lots of new products last night and today. I will have pictures when I get back from picking up my kids from school but wanted you to know what came in. We received in two new lines of Basic Grey with all the embellishments and stamps (even little 1.79) stamps.

Fiskars has a hand punch drill that will go through acrylic and the Tim Holtz fragments. Lots of stuff.

Summer Kids Camp

Kids Camp is back this summer.

We are going to have lots of fun. It will be on Tues and Thurs from 9am-12 noon. It will be ran by Angela and Jennie. Info will follow soon. If you are interested we have the first week of kids camp starting the middle of June. We hope you join us for the summer.
